The Syndicat québécois des employées et employés de services, section locale 298 (FTQ) represents 25,000 members across Quebec, primarily in the health and social services sector.

It is the largest union in private seniors’ residences and also represents workers in childcare centres and the production of goods and services. It is affiliated with the Quebec Federation of Labour (FTQ), Quebec’s largest labour federation, with over 600,000 members.
